The Doors are Moving

Doce Blant Publishing, which has been the home of both Alys and Changeling since 2016, is closing its doors by the end of the month. This wonderful small press was my first experience working with a publisher, and I've learned so much since. While I am sad to end this chapter, it means new things will be coming. (Until then, both books can still be bought in links above or on sale in a set)

A huge thank you to Marti and all that she has done for me over the years and I hope retirement is both kind and full of family time and joy.

Now, what does this mean for Alys and Changeling? They will be making a transition with new ISBNs to the independent publishing space so they will still be accessible to you. Marti is helping me make that transition, gods bless her.

There are still some hard copies (that I will be buying up as able) available of this print run, and I highly recommend snagging yourself some if you have not already had a chance.

This process may result in a small gap in availability, so it was important to me that I communicate this to you.

Behind-the-scenes, I've been juggling a lot, and have been unsure of how much transparency with my life is appropriate. I used to overshare my life in my times as a vlogger, now I think it's possible I've swung too far the other way. Suffice to say, the past year has felt very "everything, all at once" rather than politely taking turns--but that might be the case for everyone.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding, while I work through everything. I know we're all trying to keep our heads above water.
